This piece, partially open to interpretation, explores our early connections with machines of the industrial age, that were some of the largest devices humans had connections to. Factory workers during that time were also in many ways acting as machines or devices themselves, becoming one with their mechanized cohorts, unsung and unseen. The colored portions of this piece represent the soul and innermost dreams of the woman featured here.
